At the University Health Center the services of two fulltime doctors, six part-time doctors and one counselor are provided free of charge. At least one doctor and nurse staff are at the Center at all times. The services provided by the Center include:

• First-aid internal or surgical treatment.
  
• Referral to other appropriate medical facilities. A referral letter will be written for patients without adequate Japanese language ability.
• Counseling and advice in relation to physical and emotional problems.
• Annual physical checkup conducted in April. (includes an X-ray)
• Based on the results of the annual checkup, a medical examination certificate can be issued if needed for employment, further education, overseas study, and to apply for scholarships.
  

The Health Center is open Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. (Closed weekends, public and university holidays). Inquiries: Ext. 8172

Should an injury or sudden illness require urgent medical services on days when neither the University Health Center nor other medical facilities are open, the Holiday Medical Treatment Center of Kunitachi provides basic internal, pediatric and surgical services.
